New Business & Account Management – Mid Market / Enterprise
This role is split 50% New Business and 50% Account Management.
The role includes;
New Business Development
Your primary focus will be to develop new business throughout the North of England and including Scotland. You will be given leads from our key vendors as well as internally developed Marketing communications and contacts. We also regularly host our own Technical workshops where you will invite new business prospects along and grow & nurture relationships thereafter.
Account Management Development
Build and maintain Enterprise computing solutions with core focus’s including Agile Infrastructure, Mobile Workspaces and Cyber Security together with directly related & complimentary solutions. We recognise that some solutions will be new to you and appropriate training will be provided.
Responsible for building and maintaining strong Customer Relationships. You will be required to continually manage and sustain contact and communication with your allotted customer base. The Account Management role will develop customer relationships with the objective of gaining further business and generating profitable revenue. We will agree a mutually beneficial cyclic programme of maintaining contact and relationship building upon commencement, including reporting and management thereof.
Customer Accounts & Prospects
As discussed, we will aim to pass around 10-15 existing Customer accounts along with a number of nurtured Prospects. These numbers are estimates and we will endeavour to exceed this where possible.
Co-ordination of both customer and vendor relationships with the remit of progressing and maturing professional relationships, maximising commercial benefit to the company.
You will be required to carry out periodic effective Telemarketing campaigns both with specific focus and generic business lead generation. Such activity may be self motivated or as part of an exercise with the Marketing function of the company.
You will be expected to generate corporate company presentations, for both presentation to customers and seminars / roadshows as required by the company.
You will be set a monthly target based upon your abilities and the company’s expectations. This target will be subject to review annually or earlier as deemed appropriate by the company. The company operate a flexible approach to sales targets, and where the individual is able to out-perform such targets, bonuses and commission accelerators are in place.
We utilise Salesforce for Pipeline forecasting. You will be expected to meet with the Sales Director and RSM on a monthly basis to review forecast and pipeline reporting, indicating realistic and accurate detail.
The Company Brand and Corporate Image are of utmost importance and must be maintained at the highest level on all accounts. Together with the Marketing team you will have direct input and be jointly responsible for maintaining such qualities.
You will be expected to work hand in hand with the marketing team, being a fundamental part of the company’s Business Development element, working to formulate and co-ordinate joint marketing strategies based on your experience knowledge and customer feedback.
This role is to cover the north of England / Scotland, however will also be required to commute regularly to the head office in Salford Quays.
